That's odd... Mother says the giant crabs they catch in the Water Country have gotten really expensive lately. Part of it's the season, I guess, but their meat's not at its best this time of year, and the market prices are really high.

Too bad. I was kind of hoping we'd have some for New Years.

Honestly, if I have to be working on a D-rank, helping out in the greenhouse is pretty nice. I like the flowers, and it's very relaxing work... kind of meditative, in a way.

...Still wish we could be doing something as a team, though.

...I twisted my ankle training today. :\ It's not bad enough to need a med-nin's attention, really, but it hurts. And honestly, I feel stupid for having done it.

Hopefully it'll be okay by tomorrow. I really don't want to lose out on any training time because of this, but... it'll heal better if I don't strain it. Staying off my feet for the rest of today sounds like a good idea to me.

Shikamaru... you went to talk to Sasuke, didn't you? How's... well... what's he like now? I... can't imagine that he hasn't changed at least a little, you know?

It's nice to train with friends again. I think we all let ourselves get pulled in different directions too much... it's important to hang onto those bonds.
